We heard about Simon when dear friends returned from a motorcycle meet in the Midwest. They invited Simon to come and stay with them and speak to our congregation about his adventures and mission. We'll never forget the day we stood outside the church waiting for Simon to appear. Are you sure he knows how to get here? someone asked. The reply was, "Simon will find us". Find us he did! He arrived on his one of a kind bike! It took a while to get everyone inside to hear Simon as the bike was so awesome. We had a special time with Simon and looked forward to hearing of his future adventures. We don't ride a motorcycle but Simon took us on his adventures as if we were on the bike with him. Simon, we know that you would never want to come back as the riding in Heaven and co-riding with Jesus must be the best adventure you've found so far. Our love and prayers to your mother and family. Jerry & Nell

I first met Simon when he helped me selling MAG products at a rally 15 years ago. I can honestly say he is one of the few people in MAG I never had an arguement with. I would have been honoured if he considered me a friend. I am starting to cry thinking (very selfishly) that i will never see him again. For once I am at a total loss for something to say, this has shocked me to the core.

As many others I too had never met Simon,
but very much wish I had!It is not hard to tell that he embodied spirit and heart
for humanity that is matched by few and
desired by many! AND a two wheeled explorer extraordinaire!

I had met and worked with Simon when based in Brussels as a journalist in the mid-90's. He was a great man, dedicated to promote riders' rights and to a just world. We'll miss him.

Met Simon at a presentation in Iowa. A profound man with a true giving heart. I greatly appreciated, and was encouraged by all he had to say.

I firmly believe Simon is resting with his Creator now after a job well done. Our prayers are with his family.

I'd like to express my deepest sympathies to Simon's family; hoping your grief is short and buoyed by the phenomenal amount of goodness Simon brought into, and spread around, our world.
I got to see Simon's slide presentation on 2 occasions; very uplifting and enjoyable for all who attended. He also stayed with me for a couple nights on his swing through the S.F. Bay area. I greatly enjoyed his company and his keen wit and personality. I'm very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet and hang out with Simon. He was, and is, a great man. Farewell my friend; Godspeed on your continued travels.
